Crispy Cottage Cheese Chips

Crispy baked cottage cheese chips make a high-protein, low-carb snack.

  • 2 cups small-curd cottage cheese (4% or 2% works best)
  • Flaky sea salt, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Optional (for extra crisp): Spoon cottage cheese into a fine-mesh strainer and drain 5–10 minutes.
  3. Scoop 1 tablespoon mounds of cottage cheese onto the parchment, spacing them out. Gently flatten each mound slightly.
  4. Bake 30–40 minutes until deeply golden with crisp edges and a bubbly “lacy” look.
  5. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let chips sit 10 minutes to dry and crisp more.
  6. Cool completely, then sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
