Irresistible Grilled Peaches with Ice Cream in 15 Minutes

  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pits removed
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 small scoops vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Brush the cut side of each peach half with the butter mixture.
  4. Place the peaches cut side down on the hot grill pan or skillet.
  5. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, until the peaches are tender and caramelized with deep golden brown marks.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the peaches rest for 1 minute.
  7. Place the warm peaches on a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  8. Spoon any extra caramelized juices over the top.
  9. Add the vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for best results.
  • Adjust cinnamon and sugar to taste.
  • Serve immediately to prevent ice cream from melting too quickly.
