  • 2 sausage patties
  • 1 smoked sausage link, sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 3 slices semi-hard cheese (pepper jack or white cheddar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Cook the sausage patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Add the sliced smoked sausage to the same skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the edges are caramelized.

  5. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat.

  7. Place the sausage patties on a serving plate and top them with the sliced avocado.
  8. Add the scrambled eggs, seared sausage slices, and cheese slices to the plate.
