3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Cabbage and Noodles – Comfort in Every Bite

A simple and comforting slow cooker dish combining tender cabbage and buttery egg noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 small head green cabbage, shredded (about 68 cups)
  • 12 oz wide egg noodles, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), cut into pieces

Instructions

  1. Add shredded cabbage to the slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the uncooked egg noodles on top of the cabbage.
  3. Add butter pieces over the noodles.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 1/2–2 hours (or LOW for 3–4 hours), stirring once or twice if you can, until noodles are tender and cabbage is soft.
  5. Stir well to coat everything in the buttery sauce. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Stirring occasionally helps distribute the butter evenly.
  • Adjust cooking time based on your slow cooker’s heat settings.
